Celebrating London theatres 9: the “I”s

Welcome to today’s Celebrating London Theatre. Today I’m looking at London venues beginning with “I”.

The Incognito Theatre is based in Friern Barnet in a former Edwardian lemonade factory. It has been open since 1948, presenting six productions a year by its own company. The group participates in the annual Barnet Drama Festival.

Based in the O2 complex in North Greenwich, the Indig02 is a music, cabaret and cabaret venue with a capacity of 2,750. It is managed by Ansco Music Club Ltd.

The Iris Theatre stages outdoor performances at the St Paul’s Church in Covent Garden (popularly known as ‘The Actor’s Church’). Created in 2007, it presents shows ranging from Shakespeare and fairy tales to short-run musicals.
